Book Proposal: Silk

By Christopher Zoukis

Silk will peel back the noise and mystique that have grown up around Wayne Perry.  Silk will expose the truth about the most infamous gangster to ever walk the streets of Washington D.C., which is also known as Drama City and/or Chocolate City.  Wayne ‘Silk’ Perry has been called by some the Michael Jordan of the murder game.  He was a cold-blooded, reckless killer – a hitman, spilling blood for money.  Nobody was off limits.  No place was safe.  According to the D.C. Police Department, Silk would kill in broad daylight, up close and personal, in front of a police station if need be.  Silk’s business was murder, robbing banks and drug dealers, extortion and protecting drug shipments.  Silk took his business seriously.  And taking care of business was his trademark.
